About The AMTEP Program

Derived from a significant five year grant from the GE Foundation in 2020, the AMTEP training program has grown to serving 120+ individuals per year, and is sustaining a future with the GE Aerospace Foundation and funding from the Commonwealth of MA, that will continue training adults to 2027.

Achieving the infrastructure and curriculum goals, AMTEP has expanded manufacturing training programs across the North Shore offering long-term career opportunities to over 125 individuals each year, while strengthening the local manufacturing industry . As the need for incoming talent grows, the program provides no-cost training, networking, and job placement opportunities to help move unemployed, underemployed, or inexperienced individuals into promising manufacturing career pathways in CNC Machining, Welding, and Electromechanical Assembly. North Shore’s manufacturing industry is ripe with exciting job opportunities, and AMTEP seeks to fill those positions with motivated, educated individuals.
