STEM Internship Opportunities
The number one challenge facing the Massachusetts innovation economy is the demand for a qualified and skilled workforce. There are more open jobs in the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) industries than employees to fill them. This challenge will only grow with an aging workforce that will be retiring!
The solution starts in high school – getting students excited about STEM and providing them with real life experiences. Massachusetts companies are willing to play a key role in helping introduce high school junior and senior students to hands-on real work experiences. To learn how you can get involved talk with one of our Youth Career Center staff.
