Manufacturing Training

AMTEP trainees receive over 415 hours of no-cost technical training from experienced instructors across the North Shore of Massachusetts.

Our courses provide trainees with experience that will help guide them towards promising career paths and give them an advantage during the application and interview process. The program schedule includes 250-270 hours of machining training, 50-60 hours of math and machining highlights, 5-20 hours of CAD & CAM education, and much more. So, if you’re seeking the opportunity to grow new skills and pursue an exciting, promising career path, the AMTEP program is designed for you.

The program features accessible training at nearby technical schools and educational institutions across the North Shore, including flexible training schedules.

If you are currently unemployed or underemployed, yet lacking in time due to your current job or family obligations, the NAMC will work with you to set up a course schedule that works for you. Our training facilities are located at vocational schools and other technical educational institutions across the area, ensuring that you’re always nearby your courses.

With an 85% job placement rate post-graduation, AMTEP trainees are competitive in the job market, filling a variety of manufacturing roles where needed.

Our services don’t end post AMTEP graduation. Our job placement specialists guide trainees post-course completion towards promising careers at highly respected manufacturing organizations. This helps graduate trainees jump right into their new careers while ensuring that manufacturing facilities remain staffed with a highly knowledgeable and experienced workforce. If trainees wish to continue their education, the NAMC also provides apprenticeship opportunities.

The program helps prepare trainees for financial success alongside career success by filling positions with an average starting hourly wage of $21.50.
