The Connecting Activities grant is part of the MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education School to Career Program connecting employers and schools to support work-based learning and other career development education activities for students. Our MassHire-North Shore Youth Career Center staff work in the schools, serving the most in need North Shore students. Each year we provide workshops, interest assessments, career readiness assessment and training using Career Ready 101 software, labor market discussion, job fairs, and job placement assistance and support for approximately 350 students across the North Shore region.
