The City of Salem is looking to onboard
Neighborhood Ambassadors
Ambassadors will work with Neighborhood Ambassador Coordinator to develop and execute an outreach plan for the
neighborhood they are assigned to. Will meet regularly with other Neighborhood ambassadors and
Neighborhood Ambassador Coordinator to develop best practices for community engagement. Will utilize
online tools to report progress and community needs and assess needs in the neighborhood. May
collaborate with volunteers, interns, and work-study students as assigned. Performs other related work
of a similar nature and level. Likely will be required to go door-knocking at times.
